Tomas’ host mother certainly enjoyed the experience
Student: Tomas Avello Study Period: From Sep 2017 Tomas has now returned to Spain and we all really miss him. He was an absolute delight and fitted in very well with the family. We were very sad to see him go. It has been a great experience for us. My worry about taking another student is that Tomas has set the bar too high but if there was ever a young person as easy to have around I would definitely consider doing it again. Wishing you a very happy Christmas and best wishes.
Tomas’ parents are very grateful
Student: Tomas Avello Study Period: Sep 2017 to Dec 2017 We have just arrived from our visit to our son Tomás in Chippenham and we are pleased to write to you about all the good news we have. We were able to meet his host-family, to have dinner together twice and we enjoyed chatting to them. We totally agree with what Tomás had already told us: it is a lovely family. We very much enjoyed spending time with them and we could see that Tomás has fitted in with the family very well. Just a few days after he was arrived in Chippenham, he told us by telephone that he felt like at home and that is how we saw him. As you already know, we also had an appointment with the Head of Year 10 and Tomas´ tutor. They were very kind to meet us and we had a very interesting conversation with them about Tomas. We were very happy to hear that he was doing very good academically but even more when they told us that he had settled in very well and had made very good friends at School. Tomas is certainly very happy at Sheldon School too and we are sure he is making the best of this opportunity he has been given (he is enjoying particularly Drama lessons, as he can´t study this subject in Spain). We also had time to visit the nearby golf club, where he plays golf on Saturdays and a little bit of the charming countryside. As you can imagine, we have come back home very happy and we´d like to thank you very much for it. You certainly did the right choice for Tomas both regarding the family and the school and once more, we are very grateful to you Rachel.

Student: Aude Egger Study Period: From Sep 2017 It has been an absolute pleasure having her here and we will really miss her. She has been so lovely, easy to get on with and a real asset to the family.
